Dental365 is seeking an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) in Powell, OH to join a patient‑centric practice. The role supports dentists with procedures, captures digital radiographs and intra‑oral scans, and upholds strict infection control.

Open to both part‑time and full‑time opportunities. Qualified candidates will hold an active EFDA license, possess a solid work history, and demonstrate strong communication with patients to ensure a confident, comfortable experience throughout

Qualifications

• Any state certification/license required to perform duties.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients warmly and ensure their comfort throughout visits.
• Assist the Dentist with various procedures.
• Take digital radiographs and intra-oral scans as prescribed.
• Maintain infection control by sterilizing instruments and prepping operatories.
• Prep and sanitize treatment rooms for procedures.
• Follow OSHA and safety policies for a safe environment.
• Educate patients on effective oral hygiene practices.
• Assist with a range of office tasks to support operations.

HIRING SCHEDULE:

• Monday: 8 :00am - 5:00pm
• Tuesday: 8 :00am - 5:00pm
• Thursday: 8 :00am - 5:00pm(optional)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Welcoming patients with a smile, making them feel comfortable and confident throughout their visit.
• Support the Dentist with various procedures.
• Taking digital radiographs and intra‑oral scans as prescribed
• Ensure strict infection control by meticulously preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment.
• Sanitizing and prepping operatories for respective treatments.
• Adhere to OSHA and safety policies, prioritizing a secure and healthy environment.
• Educate patients on effective oral hygiene strategies as needed
• Undertake diverse office tasks as needed for seamless practice operations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Prior experience and active EFDA license in good standing, required.
• Any certification/license as required by the state to perform specified duties.
• A resume showcasing a consistent and stable employment history.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills, delivering exceptional patient experiences.

Salary Range: $38/HR - $44/HR
