Van Buren Dental in Kettering, OH 45420 is seeking a dental assistant to join our team. The role involves welcoming patients, supporting the dentist, taking digital radiographs, and maintaining strict infection control. EFDA license is preferred or in progress.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Welcoming patients with a smile and ensuring comfort throughout visits.
• Support the Dentist with various procedures.
• Take digital radiographs and intra-oral scans as prescribed.
• Maintain infection control by preparing and sterilizing instruments.
• Sanitize and prep operatories for treatments.
• Follow OSHA and safety policies for a secure environment.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene as needed.
• Perform diverse office tasks to support operations.

HIRING SCHEDULE:

• Monday: 8:00am-4:00pm
• Tuesday: 8:00am-4:00pm
• Wednesday: 8:00am-4:00pm
• Thursday: 8:00am-4:00pm
• Friday: 8:00am-4:00pm

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Welcoming patients with a smile, making them feel comfortable and confident throughout their visit.
• Support the Dentist with various procedures.
• Taking digital radiographs and intra-oral scans as prescribed.
• Ensure strict infection control by meticulously preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment.
• Sanitizing and prepping operatories for respective treatments.
• Adhere to OSHA and safety policies, prioritizing a secure and healthy environment.
• Educate patients on effective oral hygiene strategies as needed.
• Undertake diverse office tasks as needed for seamless practice operations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Prior dental assisting experience required, active EFDA license or in progress highly preferred.
• Any certification/license as required by the state to perform specified duties.
• A resume showcasing a consistent and stable employment history.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills, delivering exceptional patient experiences.

Ohio Salary Range: $30/HR - $40/HR (range may vary based on experience level)
