Responsibilities

• Delivers clinically excellent dental care through education and quality treatment.
• Assists dentists and hygienists in quality diagnosis through X-rays, verbal communication, and other dental tests as directed.
• Prepares treatment room for patients by following prescribed procedures and protocols; sterilizes instruments and delivers them to the treatment area; positions instruments for the dentist's access; suctioning; and passing instruments.
• Places and finishes permanent restorations, completes preliminary impressions, makes and polishes temporary crowns, removing temporary crowns, and fitting permanent crowns and bridges, adjusting occlusions and interproximal areas, applying sealants, and adjusting partials and dentures.
