D4C DENTAL BRANDS, INC. is seeking a skilled Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) to join a new office and support growth into a full-time role as the practice expands.

The EFDA will assist the dentist, prepare instruments, take X-rays and impressions, and perform expanded functions as allowed by state regulations, with a schedule that includes evenings and potential for full-time hours as the office grows in 2027.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• EFDA/EDDA certification and dental X-ray certification required.
• Nitrous oxide certification, as required by the state.
• CPR certification.
• Experience in a dental or medical setting preferred.
• Must be able to perform coronal polishing.
• Bilingual skills are a plus but not required.
• Strong communication, organization, and customer service skills.
• Comfortable learning and using dental software and other office technology.
• Reliable, professional, and able to work well as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during dental procedures.
• Prepare and maintain instruments, equipment, and treatment areas.
• Follow all infection control and safety procedures.
• Perform expanded functions as permitted by state regulations.
• Take dental X-rays and impressions.
• Place and contour restorations and apply sealants, as permitted.
• Perform coronal polishing.
• Prepare and educate patients before and after treatment.
• Provide basic oral hygiene instructions.
• Maintain accurate patient records and treatment documentation.
• Help maintain dental supply inventory.
• Support the overall efficiency and patient experience of the office.

This is a new office with an opportunity to grow into a full-time position as the office expands.

Schedule

• Monday–Thursday: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM.
• Friday: 8:00 AM–2:00 PM.
• Saturday: 8:00 AM–12:00 PM to start.
• As the office grows, this position is expected to transition to full-time hours in 2027.
