Aspen Dental is hiring an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant in Rome, GA. This full-time role supports doctors and hygienists, handles operatory setup, sterilization, radiographs, and patient education to promote oral health.

You'll train others, manage patient flow, follow OSHA/HIPAA rules, and participate in quality control while benefiting from paid time off, health/dental/vision, a 401(k) plan with match, and ongoing training through TAG U.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a Dental Assistant.
• Proficient chairside assisting and four-handed dentistry.
• Knowledge of sterilization and infection control techniques.
• Radiology (x-ray) certification as required by state.
• Current CPR or BLS certification.
• State-specific expanded functions certification if required.

Responsabilités

• Assist with directing the DA office team to maintain productive patient flow.
• Assist doctors during a variety of treatment procedures.
• Breakdown operatory rooms for doctors and hygienists.
• Complete sterilization processes and ensure compliance.
• Follow daily/weekly/monthly maintenance schedules for equipment and waterlines.
• Set up trays and operatory for all procedures; support charting.
