Job summary

Aspen Dental in Stockbridge, GA is hiring a full-time Dental Assistant to support the DA office team, assist doctors, and prepare operatory spaces for a range of procedures. You will ensure sterilization, prepare trays, document patient charts, and train staff on workflows while following HIPAA and OSHA guidelines.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience as a Dental Assistant.
• Proficient at chairside assisting and four-handed dentistry.
• Demonstrate proper sterilization and infection control techniques.
• Maintain annual CE as required by state.
• State certification in expanded functions as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist dentists and the DA office team to maintain productive patient flow.
• Assist the doctors during a variety of treatment procedures.
• Breakdown operatory rooms and sterilize equipment.
• Complete sterilization processes for equipment and operatory; ensure staff compliance.
• Follow maintenance schedules for waterlines, autoclave, and compressor.
• Tray and operatory set-up for all procedures.
• Support patient charting and educate patients on oral health.
• Train others to execute patient handoffs and monitor patient flow.
• Follow OSHA regulations and HIPAA guidelines.
• Order and maintain supplies within the practice budget.
