The Indian Health Service seeks an experienced Expanded Function Dental Assistant to deliver chairside assistance, perform restorative procedures, radiography, and infection control while supporting oral health for American Indian and Alaska Native communities.

You will educate patients, prep materials, and maintain records, ensuring timely, high‑quality care in a community‑focused setting.

Formación

• One year of specialized experience in chairside assisting and radiographs.
• Completed a 4-year dental assistant or dental hygiene program with radiation coursework.
• Combination of education and experience may be acceptable.

Responsabilidades

• Provide chairside assisting and anticipate dentist's needs for instruments and materials.
• Perform intra-oral procedures such as prophylaxis and sealants.
• Conduct radiology and dental lab procedures and maintain equipment.
• Prepare patients and maintain records of appointments, examinations, treatments and supplies.
