Qualifications

• One year of specialized experience in chairside assisting and radiographs.
• Completed a 4-year dental assistant or dental hygiene program with radiation coursework.
• Combination of education and experience may be acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Provide chairside assisting and anticipate dentist's needs for instruments and materials.
• Perform intra-oral procedures such as prophylaxis and sealants.
• Conduct radiology and dental lab procedures and maintain equipment.
• Prepare patients and maintain records of appointments, examinations, treatments and supplies.
