Greeley Dental Health in Greeley, CO seeks an experienced Expanded Duties Dental Assistant (EDDA) to join full-time, Monday-Thursday, 8am-5pm (arrive 7:45am). Compensation ranges from $26 to $30 per hour with monthly bonus opportunities based on performance.

The role includes reviewing health histories, preparing operatory setups, sterilization per OSHA, four-handed dentistry with the dentist, and duties such as temp crowns, cord packing, and post-op instructions.

Qualifications

• One or more years of hands-on Expanded Duties Dental Assistant (EDDA) experience.
• Two or more years of experience as a dental assistant in a general practice.
• Active CPR certification or willing to obtain.
• X-Ray Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Review and update the patient health history.
• Select and set up instruments, equipment, and supplies for each operatory.
• Sterilize instruments according to OSHA regulations.
• Assist the dentist chairside with four-handed dentistry.
• Place fillings, fabricate temp crowns, pack cord and seat temp crowns.
• Provide post-operative care instructions.
• Assist with ordering and stocking supplies.
