Job summary

Lakewood Complete Dentistry in Lakewood, CO is seeking a dependable dental assistant to support restorative and cosmetic procedures and help build a better community.

The role requires EDDA training preferred, CPR/BLS certification, radiography in CO, Open Dental experience, strong patient service and communication, and the ability to assist with impressions, crowns, implants, veneers.

Benefits include $25-32 per hour + bonus, healthcare, up to 5 weeks paid time off, dental, and 401k matching.

Qualifications

• Completion of an Expanded Duties Dental Assistant (EDDA) training program preferred.
• Current CPR/BLS certification required.
• Qualified to perform dental radiography in Colorado; DANB RHS certification preferred.
• Strong communication and patient service skills.
• Experience with Open Dental software preferred.
• Ability to assist with restorative procedures, impressions, temporary crowns, sealants, and other expanded duties as permitted by Colorado regulations.

Responsibilities

• Digital crown and bridge impressions.
• Full and partial denture impressions and adjustments.
• Making temporary crowns.
• Comfortable in doing composite fillings.
• Assisting in dental procedures such as extractions and root canal procedures.
• Polishing teeth.
• Taking digital X-rays as needed.
• Chairside assist during implant placement, implant restoration, veneer preparation, veneer seating, and other advanced restorative and cosmetic procedures.
• Fabricate, adjust, and cement temporary restorations within the scope of EDDA certification.
• Educate patients on pre- and post-operative care for implants, veneers, and restorative procedures.
• Comfortable with making digital crowns.

  • Ability to assist with restorative procedures, impressions, temporary crowns, sealants, and other expanded duties as permitted by Colorado regulations.
  • Previous dental assisting experience preferred but not required.
