Kid's Dentistree in Corydon, IN, is seeking an Expanded Duties Dental Assistant to support dentists and hygienists, assist with X-rays and restorations, and maintain a clean, efficient operatory. This role emphasizes patient care, education, and teamwork.

The position is full-time (32 hours/week) with competitive pay up to $25 per hour based on experience. Benefits begin after 60 days and include insurance options, 401K, and professional development opportunities.

Qualificações

• EDDA or EFDA certification required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Radiology and CPR certification within required timeframe.

Responsabilidades

• Delivers clinically excellent dental care through education and quality treatment; assists dentists and hygienists in diagnosis and treatment.
• Helps ensure efficient operations by managing patient referrals, equipment, supplies, and posting charges.
• Follows CDC and OSHA guidelines for safety and infection control.
• Completes clinical notes according to practice guidelines before dismissing the patient.
• Prepares treatment room, sterilizes instruments, and passes instruments.
• Places and finishes permanent restorations and prepares preliminary impressions.

Responsibilities

• Delivers clinically excellent dental care through education and quality treatment. Assists dentists and hygienists in quality diagnosis through X-rays, verbal communication, and other dental tests as directed.
• Helps ensure efficient operations by seeking patient referrals, maintaining equipment, utilizing supplies cost-effectively, and posting patient charges accurately.
• Follows CDC and OSHA guidelines for safety and infection control.
• Completes all clinical notes according to practice guidelines before dismissing the patient.
• Prepares treatment room for patients by following prescribed procedures and protocols. Provides instrumentation by sterilizing and delivering instruments to the treatment area; positioning instruments for the dentist's access; suctioning; and passing instruments.
• Places and finishes permanent restorations, complete preliminary impressions.

Qualifications

• Have your EDDA or EFDA certification
• Have your high school diploma or equivalent
• Obtain your radiology and CPR certification within the required timeframe
• Must pass a background check and drug screening
