Corydon Kids is seeking a dedicated Expanded Duties Dental Assistant to join our team in Corydon, IN. This full-time role offers 32 weekly hours and a competitive hourly salary based on experience.

You will assist dentists and hygienists, maintain clinic standards, and follow safety protocols to ensure exceptional patient care. Benefits begin after 60 days and include insurance options and 401K.

Qualifications

• EDDA or EFDA certification required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Radiology certification within required timeframe.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Delivers clinically excellent dental care; assists dentists and hygienists with diagnosis, X-rays, and tests.
• Maintains equipment and supplies; posts patient charges and supports efficient operations.
• Follows CDC and OSHA guidelines for safety and infection control.
• Completes clinical notes per practice guidelines before patient dismissal.
• Prepares treatment room; sterilizes and delivers instruments; positions instruments for dentist; assists with suctioning.
• Places and finishes permanent restorations; completes preliminary impressions.
