Job summary

Dexmate is seeking a contract data-collection operator to teleoperate our robots via a wearable exoskeleton system at the Santa Clara lab. This is hands-on hardware work, not a simulation, with hours aligned to active data collection campaigns.

You will perform structured, repetitive tasks with high precision and data quality, following explicit workflows and task instructions in a controlled lab environment. This role emphasizes safety, consistency, and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Teleoperate robotic arms using Dexmate’s exoskeleton system (your movements directly control the robot).
• Execute predefined manipulation tasks (picking, placing, sorting, assembly, etc.).
• Repeat tasks to generate high-volume, high-quality training data.
• Follow structured task instructions and data collection workflows.
• Execute variations of tasks based on engineering needs.
• Provide feedback on system behavior, usability, and data quality.
• Maintain safe and controlled operation in a lab environment.
