Job summary

Genesis AI is seeking a Senior Data Collection Operator to create data on the floor by teleoperating our glove-equipped robotics hardware and designing task setups. You will work closely with model engineering and research teams to translate their data needs into live demonstrations and feed learnings back to improve future requests.

This is hands-on, high-craft work at the frontier, requiring you to design setups, scripts, and SOPs, and to stand up new tasks that meet a high quality bar while

Qualifications

• You have operated robotics or embodied-AI systems to collect and teleoperate data at a real quality bar.
• You can design and stand up a repeatable task from a rough request.
• You have experience working with research and model engineering teams to translate data requests into demonstrations.
• You consistently produce high-quality work and raise the bar on outcomes.
• You can stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs to stage environments.
• You are technically handy with Linux and Python to automate tasks and troubleshoot hardware.
• Bonus: experience with reliability testing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Create the best data on the floor by running tasks to the acceptance bar and producing demonstrations the model learns from.
• Set up tasks from scratch, designing setup, props, environment, and SOP for quick collection.
• Collaborate with research and model engineering to translate requests into demonstrations and feedback.
• Set the standard by modeling craft and consistency for newer operators.
• Support reliability testing by partnering with the reliability team for real-robot tests.
• Own your quality by reviewing work and incorporating feedback to raise the bar.
