Job summary

Arizona Science Center seeks an Exhibits Manager to maintain and enhance exhibits, supervise the Exhibit Technician team, and collaborate with internal teams and vendors. The role supports a wide range of learning experiences for guests of all ages through technical oversight and hands-on fabrication when needed.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and at least four years in related fields, with strong carpentry, metal work, electrical, and CAD/SketchUp skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 4+ years of related experience.
• Experience in exhibits, science centers, museums, or fabrication preferred.
• Strong supervision and project coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily supervision of Exhibit Technician team.
• Maintain and repair exhibits; read plans and build new components.
• Coordinate maintenance protocols and safety procedures.
• Oversee third-party vendors and budget for exhibits.
• Collaborate with facilities and A/V teams for exhibits and lighting.
