City of Torrance is seeking a Senior Program Specialist to serve as the Assistant Museum Curator for exhibitions. The role focuses on research, development and coordination of upcoming exhibitions, with strong emphasis on public programming and educational outreach.

The ideal candidate will have a degree related to the arts and experience in museum or gallery settings, plus excellent communication and collaboration skills. Hours are part-time, evenings and weekends may be required.

• Exhibition research, development and coordination experience.
• Experience in museum/gallery programming and public engagement.
• Knowledge of arts education and exhibition interpretation.
