Job summary

Exhibitor Source in La Vergne, TN, is seeking a hands-on Services Technician to join our in-office team and bring client exhibit designs to life. Install, configure, and troubleshoot AV gear and lighting, and run power/data cables for show floor setups.

From warehouse prep to final show floor deployment, you’ll collaborate with project managers, designers, and service teams to ensure builds meet design and safety specifications with a strong focus on quality and safety.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic carpentry, electrical, and mechanical skills.
• The ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities when issues arise on the floor.
• A team-first mindset with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physical stamina, including the ability to perform repetitive lifting of up to 50 lbs.
• High attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality and safety.

Responsibilities

• Install and dismantle exhibit structures, booths, and signage on show floors and at remote locations.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot AV equipment, lighting, and run cables/wiring for power and data connections.
• Handle pre-show staging, packing, shipping, and receiving; safely manage materials and operate a forklift.
• Perform pre- and post-show inspections, document exhibit conditions with photos, and perform repairs or refurbishments as needed.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, designers, and show service personnel to ensure builds meet design and safety specifications.

About the Role

We are growing, leveling up our capabilities, and looking for a hands‑on Services Technician to join our in‑office team at our La Vergne headquarters and bring our clients' exhibit designs to life. In this role, you will be a vital part of our collaborative team, ensuring that trade show displays function flawlessly and make a massive impact.

What You’ll Do

• Installation & Dismantle (I&D): Assemble and disassemble exhibit structures, booths, and signage, both at remote locations and on the show floor.
• Technical Setup: Install, configure, and troubleshoot AV equipment, lighting, and run cables/wiring for power and data connections.
• Warehouse & Logistics: Handle pre-show staging, professional packing, shipping, and receiving. Safely manage materials and operate a forklift.
• Quality Control & Maintenance: Perform pre- and post-show inspections, document exhibit conditions with photos, and execute routine repairs or refurbishments to keep assets in top shape.
• Team Coordination: Work closely with Project Managers, designers, and show service personnel to ensure everything is built accurately to design and safety specifications.

Compensation

• Hourly Range, $21 - $25
• Final offer will be commensurate with your level of direct technical experience and industry knowledge.
