Job summary

Stellant Systems, Inc. in Williamsport, PA is seeking an Exhaust Operator to perform brazing-related exhaust operations and tube prep. The role loads furnaces, operates exhaust stations, and ensures vacuum integrity according to procedures.

Responsibilities include maintaining data records, inspecting equipment, and complying with safety protocols. Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to read drawings are preferred; lifting up to 50 lbs is required.

Qualifications

• Associates in Electronics or equivalent preferred but not required.
• Able to perform mathematical calculations.
• Good mechanical aptitude and dexterity.
• Good organizational skills, and able to give and follow oral and written instructions.
• Trainable on programmable DCPs.
• Able to read mechanical drawings / blueprints.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and wear personal protective equipment.

• Monitor/control temperature and pressure to meet specifications of various tubes.
• Troubleshoot potential vacuum leaks on tubes and/or exhaust stations.
• Record / maintain data sheets as required by procedure.
• Maintain work area in clean / orderly manner.
• Maintain barcode accuracy at 100%
• Initiate clear pass down instructions for next shift.
• Grit / Bead blast exhausted tubes and components as specified.
• Inspect/PM equipment as specified.

Under minimal supervision, and in accordance with written and oral instructions, performs operations required to; prepare and chemically clean/plate components, load and operate furnaces in order to perform brazing operations, load and operate exhaust stations to evacuate (vacuum exhaust) tubes.
