Job summary

Stellant Systems is seeking an Exhaust Operator in Williamsport, PA. Under minimal supervision, you will prepare and chemically clean components, operate furnaces, and load exhaust stations for vacuum evacuation. Key responsibilities include monitoring temperature and troubleshooting vacuum leaks.

The ideal candidate will have good mechanical aptitude, organizational skills, and the ability to perform necessary calculations. An associate's degree in Electronics is preferred but not required.

Overview

Job Title: Exhaust Operator

Job Location: Williamsport, PA

Under minimal supervision, and in accordance with written and oral instructions, performs operations required to; prepare and chemically clean/plate components, load and operate furnaces in order to perform brazing operations, load and operate exhaust stations to evacuate (vacuum exhaust) tubes. Standard procedures are established and work is semi-routine in nature

Responsibilities

• Prepare and install tubes for exhaust cycle.
• Monitor/control temperature and pressure to meet specifications of various tubes.
• Troubleshoot potential vacuum leaks on tubes and/or exhaust stations.
• Record / maintain data sheets as required by procedure.
• Maintain work area in clean / orderly manner.
• Maintain barcode accuracy at 100%
• Initiate clear pass down instructions for next shift.
• Grit / Bead blast exhausted tubes and components as specified.
• Inspect/PM equipment as specified.

Qualifications

• Associates in Electronics or equivalent preferred but not required
• Able to perform mathematical calculations.
• Good mechanical aptitude and dexterity.
• Good organizational skills, and able to give and follow oral and written instructions.
• Trainable on programmable DCP’s.
• Able to read mechanical drawings / blueprints.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and wear personal protective equipment.
