Job summary

Stellant Systems in Williamsport, PA is seeking an Exhaust Operator to perform brazing prep, load and operate furnaces, and evacuate tubes using vacuum exhaust stations. This role works under minimal supervision and follows established procedures for semi-routine tasks.

Responsibilities include preparing/installing tubes, monitoring temperature/pressure, troubleshooting leaks, recording data, and maintaining a clean, organized work area with 100% barcode accuracy for shift handoffs.

Qualifications

• Associates in Electronics or equivalent preferred but not required.
• Able to perform mathematical calculations.
• Good mechanical aptitude and dexterity.
• Good organizational skills, and able to give and follow oral and written instructions.
• Trainable on programmable DCP’s.
• Able to read mechanical drawings / blueprints.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and wear personal protective equipment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and install tubes for exhaust cycle.
• Monitor/control temperature and pressure to meet specifications of various tubes.
• Troubleshoot potential vacuum leaks on tubes and/or exhaust stations.
• Record / maintain data sheets as required by procedure.
• Maintain work area in clean / orderly manner.
• Maintain barcode accuracy at 100%
• Initiate clear pass down instructions for next shift.
• Grit / Bead blast exhausted tubes and components as specified.
• Inspect/PM equipment as specified.
