As an Exercise Support Analyst, you’ll bring your analytical and technical

expertise to work on projects for military operations in the Indo-Pacific Area. You’ll research, develop, analyze, assess, plan, and provide support to a command element of a forward-deployed military force that conducts military operations in all domains and across the entire range of military operations, unilaterally, bilaterally, and multilaterally in a politically charged international environment. You’ll be a trusted advisor to our clients, and we’ll look to you to identify, analyze, and evaluate complex systems, policies, and processes to develop plans of action and milestones to achieve access, overflight, and basing in order or enable training objectives and posture. You’ll guide the work we do for our high-tempo military client and the solutions we deliver for military missions, alliance management, and defense planning.

You Have:

5+ years of experience exercise planning in the Indo-Pacific Area of Operations

2+ years of experience in exercise planning, preparation, and coordination with adjacent components and HHQ Commands

Experience in planning and coordinating training in Northeast and Southeast Asia and Oceania

Knowledge of military organization and culture of joint U.S. Forces and partner allies in the region

Knowledge of multiple DoD networks for information gathering, including NIPR, SIPR, and CENTRIX

Ability to apply information from the applicable documents to advise in the design of an exercise construct that meets alliance and training and readiness objectives

Ability to communicate complex data analysis topics, orally and in writing, to senior leaders and their respective staffs, and work with senior level staff members at the Joint and Combined level

Ability to speak, read, and write in the Japanese language

HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:

Knowledge of the U.S.-Japan Status of Forces Agreement

Knowledge of U.S.-Japan Training Relocation Programs

Knowledge of the Japan Self-Defense Force

The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
