Job summary

Tender Touch Rehab Services LLC is seeking an Exercise Physiologist for a full-time role in a skilled nursing facility. The position involves meeting with patients to establish histories and goals, and creating comprehensive exercise and wellness programs under supervision of a PT or physician.

You will develop individualized plans, oversee the program, and may conduct diagnostic tests to evaluate health and fitness, while ensuring timely documentation and performing additional duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Exercise Physiology or Exercise Science.
• Certification preferred.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Meet with patients/clients to establish medical histories, exercise histories, and exercise goals.
• Develop, implement, and coordinate exercise and wellness programs for patients/clients under the supervision of a physical therapist or physician.
• Develop individualized exercise plans.
• Provide clinical oversight of the exercise program.
• May perform diagnostic tests as indicated (stress test, EKG, body fat analysis) to assess patient/clients' health and fitness.
• Ensure all patient/client documentation is completed in a timely fashion.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
