An established industry player is seeking a dedicated Exercise Physiologist to join their Cardiac Diagnostics team. This role involves performing Graded Exercise Stress Testing, EKG tracings, and EECP Therapy for cardiac patients. You will be responsible for ensuring patient safety, interpreting ECGs, and facilitating emergency responses. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science and relevant certifications. Under the supervision of the Exercise Specialist Team Leader, the Exercise Physiologist is responsible for patient care in all areas of Graded Exercise Stress Testing/EKG tracings and EECP Therapy.
This job description covers the minimum essential duties assigned regularly. Caregivers may be asked to perform additional duties as assigned by their leader. Leadership reserves the right to alter or modify the duties of the position.
Additional projects may be assigned.
Certifications: BCLS, ACLS (ACLS may be obtained within one year of employment)
Work Experience: Completion of a 4-6 month internship in preventative, diagnostic, and rehabilitative cardiology; EMR systems experience preferred.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science or a related health field; completion of an Advanced Arrhythmia/12-lead EKG interpretation course.
Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of computer systems and applications; ability to use a keyboard; knowledge of EECP Therapy preferred.
