Rush Oak Park Hospital is seeking a Clinical Exercise Physiologist to support the cardiology team with exercise physiology expertise, diagnostic testing, and personalized exercise prescriptions aimed at improving cardiovascular health and function.
The CEP will work with cardiologists, nurses and rehab specialists to ensure safe care, perform stress tests, educate patients and families on activity guidelines and contribute to clinical decision-making through data interpretation and reporting.

Pay Range: $25.20 - $35.60 per hour

Clinical Exercise Physiologist (CEP) Department plays a vital role in the assessment, implementation, and monitoring of exercise-based interventions. This position supports the multidisciplinary cardiology team by providing expertise in exercise physiology, conducting diagnostic exercise testing, and developing individualized exercise prescriptions to improve cardiovascular health and physical function. The CEP works closely with cardiologists, nurses, sonographers, and rehabilitation specialists to ensure safe and effective care. Responsibilities include performing exercise stress tests, educating patients and families on physical activity guidelines, and contributing to clinical decision-making through data interpretation and reporting.
