We Are Hiring

• Department: Rehabilitation
• Schedule: PRN, as needed, with typical hours Monday-Friday 7am-5pm, and 7-11am on Saturdays. Hours vary by shift and Saturdays rotate.
• Hospital: All Saints Hospital
• Location: Racine, WI

What You Will Do

Implement and supervise physical exercise programs for patients.

• Provide patient testing and assessment before and after rehabilitation.
• Plan and teach exercise therapy for patients utilizing test data, patient status, and current medication regimen. Monitor patient's response and revise plans accordingly.
• Recognize contraindications and abnormal patient responses to exercise. Respond appropriately to all situations, including exercise cessation and referral to medical professionals.
• Provide exercise information for patients, peers, and the community, which may include public speaking and education classes.
• Ensure department equipment is properly maintained, calibrated, and functioning correctly.
• Develop and maintain various files, records, reports; schedule patient appointments as required.
• Provide oversight of department activities in the absence of the manager.

What You Will Need

Licensure/Certification/Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Exercise Physiologist credentialed from the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) preferred.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Master's degree preferred.
