Job Overview

Recora is seeking experienced Exercise Physiologists to lead group exercise and wellness sessions for older adults with cardiovascular issues, primarily via telehealth. This role involves reviewing patient health information, implementing exercise plans, leading group sessions, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities
  • Review patient health information prior to goal-setting sessions
  • Conduct exercise sessions for older adults with cardiovascular issues via telehealth
  • Implement and update exercise plans according to current standards
  • Evaluate patient progress and response to exercise
  • Lead group exercise sessions for individuals with similar health conditions
  • Collaborate with clinical team to update programming
  • Accurately document all patient interactions and progress
  • Work with health coaches, nurses, physicians, and technologists to enhance services
  • Optional: Bilingual in Spanish
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in exercise science, physiology, kinesiology, or related field
  • At least 2 years of experience as an exercise physiologist or trainer with a focus on cardiovascular health
  • Experience leading group fitness classes
  • Certification: ACSM Clinical Exercise Physiologist (CEP) or Registered Clinical Exercise Physiologist (RCEP)
Additional Details

This is a fully remote, contract position classified as 1099. The minimum commitment is 20 hours per week, compensated at $30 per 60-minute session. The role reports to the Program Manager and is based in the United States.
