NorthShore University HealthSystem is seeking an Exercise Physiologist - Cardiac Diagnostics for Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights. The role includes assisting with cardiac stress testing, monitoring patient responses, and documenting procedures during diagnostic tests.

The position is full-time with day shifts, on-call weekends rotating, and requires a Bachelor's in Exercise Physiology; CPR/BLS; ACLS within 6 months; plus 1 year experience or internship.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Physiology required; Master's degree preferred.
• Current American Heart Association CPR/BLS certification required; ACLS required within 6 months of hire.
• 1 year of experience as Exercise Physiologist or internship highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with cardiac stress testing, including patient preparation, exercise monitoring and assessment of patient responses.
• Monitor vital signs, symptoms and patient tolerance during cardiac diagnostic testing, communicating changes to the healthcare team.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses and other healthcare professionals to provide safe patient care and maintain accurate documentation of testing procedures.

Hourly Pay Range: $27.14 - $40.71 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Exercise Physiologist - Cardiac Diagnostics

Position Highlights:

• Position: Exercise Physiologist - Cardiac Diagnostics

• Location: Northwest Community Hospital, Arlington Heights

• Full Time/Part Time: Full Time, 40 hours per week

• Hours: Day Shift, 7:30 am-4:00 pm

• On-Call: Rotating weekend call (1-2 times per month)

• Required Travel: Floating to Schaumburg or 1632 location as needed

• Holidays: No

What you will do:
