Augusta Health is seeking an Exercise Physiologist to manage daily equipment operations and participant orientations within the Cardiopulmonary Rehab Program. You will guide safe equipment use, perform baseline assessments, and help organize rehab activities. Travel to health fairs may be required.
The role includes inpatients education on cardiovascular risks and benefits of Phase II rehab, plus BP checks, pulse and glucose monitoring as part of routine care.
This position is responsible for the daily operations of the cardiopulmonary rehab exercise program equipment area. Position also responsible for assisting participants with equipment orientations. Monitor Telemetry, provide participants guidance in safe and proper usage of all fitness equipment, performing preventive wellness assessments, baseline assessments, organize and implement programs pertaining to cardiopulmonary rehab and attend health fairs/outside events representing Augusta Health Cardiopulmonary Rehab Program. Exercise physiologist will also provide education to inpatients discussing cardiovascular risk factors, cardiovascular diagnosis, and benefits to attending the Phase II Cardiopulmonary Rehab Program. Other duties include: Taking Blood Pressures, Palpate pulse, Pulse Ox saturation and perform blood glucose check.
