Job summary

UPMC Hillman Cancer Center is seeking an experienced Exercise Physiologist to serve as an Exercise Oncology Specialist for the Moving Through Cancer Program. The role blends onsite and telehealth care to support cancer patients with personalized movement-based interventions and education.

You will assess functional capacity, create tailored exercise prescriptions, and coordinate referrals across rehabilitation and supportive services while working within a dynamic, multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Nationally recognized exercise certification from a USREPS-accredited organization.
• Additional Exercise Oncology credentials preferred.
• Experience with cancer survivorship programs a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver personalized exercise and lifestyle interventions.
• Provide one-on-one education, coaching, and support.
• Assess patients and create individualized exercise prescriptions.
• Coordinate referrals to rehabilitation and supportive care resources.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams.
• Serve as patient navigator and manage program data.
