Community Memorial Health System in Ventura, CA is seeking an Exercise Monitor to oversee the Wellness & Fitness Center and ensure a safe, member‑focused environment.

Qualifications

• Required: High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Three (3) months of customer service experience
• Preferred: Basic computer skills
• Six (6) months customer service experience in health club, retail hospitality, or other service industry

• Answer inbound calls, make outbound calls, assist with membership inquiries/sales, and schedule members for ancillary services.

Compensation

Salary Range: $21.00 - $22.76 per hour

The pay range above represents the lowest possible rate for the position and the highest possible rate. Factors that may be used to determine where newly hired employees will be placed in the pay range include the employee specific skills and qualifications, relevant years of experience and comparison to other employees already in this role. Most often, a newly hired employee will be placed below the midpoint of the range.

Responsibilities

Position Overview:

The exercise monitor is responsible for accurately and effectively monitoring the Wellness & Fitness Center in order to ensure a safe, supervised environment for members. This includes answering incoming calls and making outbound calls, assisting with direct membership inquires/sales and scheduling members for ancillary services. The exercise monitor collaborates with other Wellness & Fitness Center staff to provide a best-in-class, member-centric experience that strengthens member relationships and builds member retention.

Qualifications

Required:

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Three (3) months of customer service experience

Preferred:

• Basic computer skills
• Six (6) months customer service experience in health club, retail hospitality, or other service industry
