Job summary

McCarl's Inc. seeks a Vice President, EH&S to provide enterprise leadership for the safety function, partnering with Chief Performance Officer to shape strategy, capability, and operating discipline across the company.

The role leads the safety organization, collaborates with Operations, and directs executive-level leadership for major safety initiatives, incidents, and regulatory matters to sustain safe operations and growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in occupational safety, Environmental Health, Industrial Hygiene, Engineering, Business, or related field preferred.
• Twelve+ years of progressive EH&S, safety, risk, operations, or construction leadership experience.
• Five+ years leading managers or senior safety professionals across multiple locations or major projects.
• Credible experience with operations executives, project leaders, clients, and regulatory agencies in high-stakes situations.

Responsibilities

• Set and execute an enterprise safety strategy aligned with growth plans, risk profile, and employee well-being.
• Establish and maintain safety management systems, company standards, and performance measures for consistent execution.
• Lead Regional Safety Managers and develop a scalable organization with clear roles and succession coverage.
• Oversee safety leadership for major projects, client relationships, regulatory matters, and incident response.
• Use leading and lagging indicators to drive improvements and executive visibility into risk.
