Job summary

Balfour Beatty Communities seeks an Executive Vice President of Projects & Development to lead the full scope of military housing projects, development management, and asset oversight. You will guide strategies, risk management, and financial structuring while partnering with OSW and Military Services to ensure tenant satisfaction and long‑term portfolio health.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, management, or real estate.
• 15+ years leading development, portfolio, or asset management.
• Experience with project finance, refinancing, and capital planning.
• Ability to lead diverse teams across multiple geographies.
• Willingness to obtain DoD security clearance if required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the EVP P&D function across projects, development, and asset management.
• Oversee relationships with OSW and Military Services.
• Drive capital planning, asset management plans, and lifecycle optimization.
• Ensure compliance with codes, standards and BBC policies.
• Develop strategy and lead a talent strategy across seven dimensions.
• Provide input into restructuring and strategic repositioning.
• Lead technology initiatives including AI and data analytics.
