Job summary

Self Opportunity, Inc. in Dallas seeks a Vice President of Human Resources to lead the people strategy across a multi-brand, multi-state restaurant group and to partner with the CEO and executive team on growth initiatives.

The role requires scaling HR infrastructure, building a capable team, and driving talent, compensation, and compliance programs across brands and states. It combines strategic leadership with hands-on execution in a fast-moving environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive HR leadership experience in a restaurant or hospitality organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead HR strategy across brands and units, aligning people initiatives with growth and financial goals.
• Build and lead the HR team including talent acquisition, employee relations, benefits, compensation, and HRIS.
• Drive M&A integration and talent onboarding for acquisitions across multi-state operations.
• Own talent acquisition and retention strategies for high-volume hourly hiring and multi-unit leadership pipelines.
• Develop leadership and training programs to grow shift leaders, general managers, and multi-unit leaders.
• Design scalable compensation, incentive, and benefits programs for restaurant and corporate teams.
• Ensure compliance with employment laws across states and manage risk with legal counsel.
• Oversee HRIS, payroll, and workforce management tech decisions and analytics reporting to executives.
