Job summary

Orano USA seeks a visionary Vice President of Engineering to lead all engineering activities for the organization in Oak Ridge, TN. You will oversee design, procurement, fabrication, and testing, ensuring compliance with nuclear safety standards and budgets while coordinating with executive leadership and external partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, nuclear engineering, or related field.
• 10–15 years directing and managing large-scale industrial engineering projects, preferably nuclear.
• PMI/PMP or PRINCE2 certification is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of design and construction standards and regulations.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams in regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project from design through commissioning.
• Coordinate with executive management and primary contact.
• Ensure milestones, permits, contracts, testing and commissioning.
• Manage budgets, risks, and KPIs.
• Interface with regulatory authorities (NRC) and external partners.
