Frederick Fox LLC seeks a Vice President / Business Unit Director to establish and scale a business unit focused on product and platform systems for the U.S. defense and maritime sectors.

You will own strategy, financial performance, and customer relationships, reporting to executive leadership. The role requires leading organizations across engineering, quality, program management, and operations to deliver lifecycle products while aligning with defense priorities and regulatory standards.

Competenze

• Extensive leadership experience in a defense or maritime business unit.
• Proven P&L ownership with revenue and profitability responsibility.
• Strong strategic planning and multi-year program management skills.
• Ability to recruit, develop, and lead senior leaders across functions.

Mansioni

• Establish and lead a new business unit with strategic direction and growth objectives.
• Own full P&L, budgets, and performance metrics across revenue, margin, and cash flow.
• Define product and platform roadmaps aligned with defense and maritime priorities.
• Lead cross-functional teams in engineering, operations, and contracts to meet program goals.
• Build long-term customer relationships with shipbuilders, government customers, and primes.
• Drive risk management, compliance with FAR/DFARS, and regulatory requirements.
• Expand market presence through strategic partnerships and new program opportunities.
• Report regularly on performance, forecasts, and strategic recommendations to executives.

Formazione

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field

MBA or related business degree (preferred)
