Job summary

Zurich 56 Company Ltd is looking for an experienced Executive Underwriter or AVP, Underwriting Director in Construction Casualty to join their Specialties Accounts team. This position offers the flexibility for remote candidates within the Western market, subject to hiring manager discretion.

The ideal candidate will have strong underwriting experience, particularly in handling complex domestic Construction Casualty risks while building relationships with key brokerage partners. The compensation ranges from $100,000 to $215,000 based on experience, along with potential bonuses.

Qualifications

• 5 or more years of experience in Underwriting or Market Facing area.
• 10 or more years of experience in Claims or Underwriting Support area.
• Experience working under time constraints.

Responsibilities

• Administer and monitor underwriting rules and guidelines.
• Develop relationships with agents and brokers.
• Qualify accounts to meet organization's appetite.
