Job summary

Zurich North America is seeking an experienced Executive Underwriter or AVP, Underwriting Director, Construction Casualty in Phoenix, Arizona. This role offers remote flexibility for candidates within the Western market and requires strong underwriting expertise.

Successful candidates will manage underwriting operations, develop distributor relationships, and ensure compliance with underwriting guidelines. Candidates should also have a Bachelor’s degree and significant experience in the field. The position includes a competitive salary range of $100K - $215K and a bonus eligibility of up to 40%.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in the Underwriting or Market Facing area.
• Knowledge of time constraints for quotes on new and renewal business.
• Established broker relationships within the Western region.

Responsibilities

• Administer and monitor underwriting rules and regulations.
• Develop relationships with distributors to support business.
• Qualify accounts to meet organization’s appetite.
