Job summary

Jobtailor in Albuquerque, NM is seeking an experienced operations leader to drive total store sales and profitability while overseeing Food & Beverage, inventory, pricing, and promotional signing. Job description

• Drive total store sales and contribute to total store profitability
• Manage Food & Beverage, food services, inbound, outbound, replenishment, inventory accuracy, presentation, pricing and promotional signing processes
• Manage a team of experts in operations, accuracy and efficiency
• Lead pick, pack and ship fulfillment work when applicable
• Develop and use workload planning tools to complete scheduled workload
• Conduct regular team check-ins to ensure task and workload completion
• Manage GM backroom and sales floor areas; review reporting, identify gaps and develop resolution plans
• Oversee GM Team Leaders' workload planning, transitions, revisions and sales plans
• Lead Fulfillment teams to fulfill orders accurately and efficiently
• Drive food safety culture; train, validate and coach teams on food safety standards and cleaning routines
• Oversee Food & Beverage Team Leader workload planning, transitions, revisions, sales plans, sampling and promotions
• Create a guest-focused culture and deliver store sales goals
• Assess competition and use guest insights and feedback to drive business
• Ensure products are in stock, fresh, available, food safe, accurately priced and signed
• Assess GM and Food & Beverage backroom and sales floor areas and develop plans to resolve gaps
• Plan, lead and follow up on organizational and operational change
• Anticipate and identify changes in store trends
• Develop and coach team skills and expertise
• Establish accountability through expectations and performance management
• Develop, coach and train team members; anticipate staffing needs, talent plan and recruit
• Provide service and a shopping experience meeting guest needs
• Demonstrate and enforce ethical conduct, safety and compliance
• Follow safe and secure training and processes as a key carrier
• Address store needs, including emergencies and regulatory visits

Requirements

• 4 year degree or equivalent experience
• Strong interest and knowledge of the Food & Beverage business
