Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive corporate or search firm recruiting at executive level experience.
• 5+ years of advising and influencing executive leadership experience.
• 5+ years of advising and influencing leadership experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Serve as trusted talent advisor to VP and SVP hiring leaders—shape role definition and leadership bar, guide go/no-go and selection decisions on high-stakes searches.
• Set the search strategy and market POV for ambiguous mandates with no clear talent pool.
• Develop deep market intelligence on industries, competitors, and leadership talent and translate into hiring insights.
• Build and sustain relationships with senior external leaders, creating durable talent networks for Amazon.
• Engage, assess, and win the most senior candidates, representing Amazon credibly at the executive level.
• Raise the bar on executive search craft—introduce new approaches and assessment frameworks to improve quality and speed.
• Mentor and elevate other recruiters, acting as escalation point on complex searches, offers, and negotiations.
• Partner with executive leadership to provide candid counsel on talent, market realities, and hiring tradeoffs.
