Job summary

Astrion seeks an Executive Support Action Officer (AO) to support SAF/SQ in Arlington, VA. You will oversee tasking, tracking, and coordination of staff actions across SAF/SQ, ensuring timely responses and policy alignment.

The candidate should hold an active TS/SCI clearance with a bachelor’s degree and 7+ years of directly relevant experience, plus strong writing and executive-support capabilities for fast-paced leadership environments.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance required.
• Bachelor’s Degree and 7+ years of directly relevant experience.
• Experience managing staff actions, tasking systems, or correspondence tracking tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to tailor messaging for diverse audiences.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Oversee receipt, assignment, tracking, and closure of all internal and external taskers within SAF/SQ.
• Manage staff actions using TMT and related systems to ensure timely coordination.
• Analyze incoming taskers, assign actions, and monitor progress for quality and timeliness.
• Develop, implement, and maintain SOPs for action tracking and reporting.
• Prepare tasker metrics, summaries, and status reports for leadership review.
• Coordinate responses and verify accuracy prior to senior management review or release.
• Draft, proofread, and edit internal and external correspondence and communications.
• Manage records and correspondence per DoD and Air Force directives.
