Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive executive leadership in nonprofit, cultural, educational, or mission-driven organizations.
• A track record of success in philanthropy, marketing, organizational strategy, and institutional growth.
• Strong financial acumen and experience partnering with senior finance leadership.
• Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills - and the presence to represent the organization anywhere.
• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the CEO/Executive Director as a trusted advisor, translating strategy into measurable results.
• Lead the development team's work across institutional giving, corporate partnerships, events, donor stewardship, etc.
• Guide marketing, communications, and PR to grow attendance, revenue, and national visibility.
• Partner with the CFO on budgeting, forecasting, Board reporting, and performance dashboards.
• Champion technology across the institution - IT operations, cybersecurity, data systems, capital improvements, and digital transformation.
• Represent the organization with philanthropic, corporate, civic, and government partners.
• Build the systems, policies, and cross-departmental collaboration that make a great institution run.
