Loews Nashville Hotel is seeking an Executive Steward to lead the stewarding team and uphold the highest standards of cleanliness, organization, and safety across all kitchen areas.

You will oversee dishwashing, equipment maintenance, and storage, while guiding back-of-house operations to support exceptional guest experiences. Strong leadership and communication are essential for success in a demanding hotel setting.

Qualifications

• Executive Steward role requiring leadership over stewarding team and high standards of cleanliness and safety.
• Oversee care and maintenance of kitchen equipment, dishware, and storage spaces.
• Lead back-of-house operations to support guest experiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the stewarding department, ensuring proper coverage and smooth operations.
• Inspire and motivate your team through meetings, training, and coaching.
• Develop work schedules aligning with daily service, banquets, and events.
• Oversee dishwashing operations and proper cleaning/storage of all wares and equipment.
• Ensure safe handling and storage of cleaning chemicals and chemicals regulations compliance.
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, dishware, glassware, and equipment.
• Coordinate with vendors and purchasing to ensure timely orders and deliveries.
• Collaborate with Executive Chef and other leaders to meet goals.
