Marcus Hotels & Resorts is seeking an Executive Steward at the Grand Geneva Resort & Spa in Lake Geneva, WI. You will oversee the stewarding department, manage inventory of china, glassware, linens, and silver, and ensure proper sanitation and safety standards.

The role includes training staff, completing safety inspections, and supporting dishwashing and service teams. A valid driver’s license and Serve Safe certification are required, with opportunities for growth within Marcus Hotels &

• Prior stewarding or dishwashing supervisory experience required; knowledge of kitchens, equipment, food production, sanitation and safety.
• Must obtain necessary state licenses, Serve Safe certification, and have a valid driver's license.

As the Executive Steward at the Grand Geneva Resort & Spa, you’ll oversee the staff in the stewarding department and assist in the transportation and cleaning of cooking utensils and service ware in order to provide cooks, bus persons and food servers with appropriate equipment for guests dining experience.

What will you be doing?

• Supervise stewarding department in management's absence, ensuring smooth operations.
• Maintain inventory, inspect and coordinate the distribution of all big four items: china, glassware, linens, and silver.

What do you bring to the role?

• Flexible hour’s availability, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Prior stewarding or dishwashing supervisory experience required; knowledge of kitchens, equipment, food production, sanitation and safety.
• Must obtain necessary state licenses, Serve Safe certification, and have a valid driver's license.
• Ability to work in humid, wet, and noisy environments with frequent interruptions.
• Capable of lifting 75 pounds and transporting 150 pounds through crowded areas; able to carry 50 pounds for short distances.
• Ability to count service ware and ensure adequate inventory for wait staff.
• Must operate large catering trucks and pass driver authorization, valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to remain calm under stress and adapt to changing tasks.
