Job summary

Regent Hotels & Resorts in Santa Monica is seeking an Executive Sous Chef to oversee all culinary teams across multi-unit F&B operations, ensuring high-quality, safe, and consistent menu execution.

Reporting to the Executive Chef, you will mentor staff, control costs, supervise production, and partner with front-of-house leaders to deliver ultra-luxury dining experiences while maintaining rigorous safety standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years’ management experience in high-volume luxury F&B operations.
• Experience within the luxury hotel industry or high-profile urban restaurant preferred.
• College degree preferred, plus certification from a recognized culinary institution and a minimum of 10 years of related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee F&B multi-unit locations, ensuring safe, high-quality production and hygiene.
• Mentor team on menu planning, food and labor cost control, and sanitation.
• Direct day-to-day production and coordinate food delivery to outlets and service staff.
• Ensure HACCP compliance and maintain training, recipe logs, and SOP adherence.
