Job summary

Highgate Hotels is seeking an Executive Sous Chef in Seattle to lead kitchen operations, ensure quality and cost targets, and train staff to meet standards. You will partner with F&B leadership to drive menus, portions, and sanitation across outlets in a high-volume setting.

The role requires proven kitchen leadership, strong communication, and the ability to manage both quality and costs while delivering guest satisfaction in a luxury hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years in progressive kitchen roles or 2 years in a hotel leadership path.
• Knowledge of F&B preparation techniques, health rules and liquor laws.
• Willingness to work long hours and manage staff.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily kitchen operation and food production areas.
• Monitor quality, portion size and presentation of all dishes.
• Train staff and enforce corporate standards and SOPs.
• Control food and labor costs while maximizing guest satisfaction.
