Del Frisco's Grille in Hoboken is seeking an Executive Sous Chef to lead a high-performing, upscale kitchen in a waterfront setting with views of Manhattan.

You will mentor a culinary team, drive quality and guest satisfaction, and collaborate with the Executive Chef to elevate service across all shifts. This role rewards culinary excellence and offers ongoing development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Upscale / fine dining culinary management experience.
• Strong back-of-house operations, inventory, and cost controls.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Stable work history; culinary program graduates a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensures excellence in guest satisfaction through a hands-on, lead by example management style.
• Assist the Executive Chef in managing back-of-house staff, training and development.
• Achieve or exceed budgeted labor and other cost centers through proper planning and execution.
• Oversee weekly and monthly inventories, and ordering of food and supplies.
• Maintain sanitation procedures and organization of work area adhering to OSHA regulations.
