Job summary

Hawkers Asian Street Food is seeking a hands-on Back of House Leader to partner with the Executive Chef, overseeing shift operations, quality, and cost controls across a high-volume kitchen. Open availability including nights, weekends, and holidays is essential.

You will direct, coach, and develop Sous Chefs and BOH staff, ensuring adherence to safety, sanitation, and recipe standards while driving efficiency and guest satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to lead and develop a team of 20-30 in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
• Open availability including nights, weekends, and holidays is required.

Responsibilities

• Directly manage, coach, and develop BOH hourly team members.
• Oversee kitchen operations, food procurement, production, and service.
• Lead pre-service meetings and ensure target ticket times are met.
• Maintain food quality, sanitation, and compliance with health standards.
• Assist Executive Chef with vendor relations and inventory management.
