Morrison Healthcare is seeking a Hands-on Culinary Supervisor to support the Executive Chef in overseeing kitchen operations and maintaining a safe, sanitary environment. You will guide meal prep in line with corporate programs and guidelines, ensuring quality and cost controls across the operation.

The role requires 3-5 years of culinary experience, a culinary degree or equivalent, and strong computer and communication skills.

Qualifications

• B.S. or A.O.S. in Culinary Arts or related field.
• 3-5 years of relevant culinary experience.
• Mastery of a wide variety of kitchen positions and stations.
• Ability to think on their feet and create/serve on the fly.
• Knowledge of food cost and cost controls.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Outlook.
• Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensures high quality food items are prepared and presented cost-effectively.
• Assists in planning, ordering, inventory, and food preparation.
• Supports cost controls and expenditure management for the account.
• Rolls out new culinary programs with marketing and culinary teams.
• Supervises staff to maintain cleanliness, organization, and sanitation.
• Motivates, trains, and directs back-of-house staff to meet objectives.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
