Qualifications

• 2-3 ans d'expérience en tant que Chef ou Sous Chef, de préférence dans des restaurants à fort volume.
• Exemplarité en matière d'honnêteté et d'intégrité.

About The Smith

The Smith is an extremely popular casual neighborhood brasserie – in fact, several of our locations are among the Top 100 busiest restaurants in the US! The Position: Executive Sous Chef

• Thorough hands-on approach, develop and promote learning for all back-of-house employees.
• Upholding the highest standards of food safety, food handling, and sanitation requirements to ensure the health and safety of staff and guests.
• Assist the Chef de Cuisine with weekly specials.
• Ensure consistent execution of company policies
• Manage labor house and kitchen waste.
• Teach Corner Table Restaurants Core Values to all new hires and existing teams.
• Attend all necessary senior management meetings in the absence of the Chef De Cuisine.

Location

The position is based in Washington, DC

The base pay for this position is a salary range of $100,000-$125,000. The determination of what a specific employee in this job classification is paid within the range depends on a number of factors, including but not limited to, prior employment history/job-related knowledge, qualifications and skills, etc.
