Job summary

The Masonic Homes of California in Union City, CA, seeks a Skilled Nursing Facility Administrator to lead Lorber Care Center, a 125-bed SNF providing skilled nursing, post-acute rehab, custodial care, and dementia services. The Administrator will oversee regulatory compliance, financial performance, resident satisfaction, and day-to-day operations.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted California Nursing Home Administrator license.
• Minimum three years of progressive leadership in SNF administration.
• Knowledge of CMS, Medi-Cal, and California CDPH requirements.
• Strong communication and collaboration with clinical and regulatory stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership and operational oversight for all aspects of the Skilled Nursing Facility.
• Direct and evaluate facility operations to ensure excellence in resident care, service, and compliance.
• Oversee regulatory reporting including MDS, PBJ, and CMS submissions.
• Lead emergency preparedness, disaster response, and business continuity planning.
• Maintain readiness for surveys and audits and liaise with CMS/CDPH/regulators.
