Job summary

Jobgether SRL, partnering with a client in the United States, is seeking a Shopify Practice Director to lead the technical vision, delivery excellence, and growth strategy for an enterprise Shopify Plus practice. You will oversee a global team of architects, engineers, and solution consultants shaping how complex commerce platforms are designed, built, and scaled.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of enterprise technology leadership in consulting/SI/agency.
• 3–4+ years with Shopify Plus or comparable enterprise commerce platform.
• Hands-on Shopify Plus expertise including Functions, Checkout Extensibility, Markets Pro, B2B, headless/composable commerce.
• Knowledge of ERP, search, CDP, PIM, OMS, and payment platforms.
• Experience leading sales pursuits, proposals, and client-facing solutioning.
• Experience building and mentoring distributed technical teams and creating a culture of technical excellence.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management across executive, technical, and commercial audiences.
• Shopify certification or willingness to obtain within six months of joining.
• Additional enterprise architecture credentials are valued.

Responsibilities

• Define architectural patterns and best practices for Shopify Plus implementations, including headless/composable commerce, Shopify Functions, Markets Pro, and B2B capabilities.
• Lead end-to-end commerce ecosystem designs linking Shopify Plus with ERP, enterprise search, CDP/CRM, PIM, OMS, and payment platforms.
• Evaluate new Shopify capabilities and translate into client-ready solutions, playbooks, and reusable architecture assets.
• Serve as the senior technical authority on feasibility, scalability, integration strategy, and architecture for Shopify Plus engagements.
• Oversee global delivery across cross-functional teams with governance, risk management, and client satisfaction.
• Establish delivery frameworks and KPIs; act as senior escalation point to remove blockers.
• Build, mentor, retain, and develop high-performing teams of Shopify professionals.
• Lead technical discovery, solutioning, estimation, architecture, and proposal development during sales.
• Partner with BD and account teams to identify expansion, upsell, and cross-sell opportunities.
• Build trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders and Shopify partner/alliance teams.
• Drive certification, enablement, knowledge-sharing, and professional development across the practice.
• Contribute to case studies, solution playbooks, and reusable frameworks to accelerate delivery and sales.
• Support practice performance through strong utilization, certification growth, solution quality, and team retention.
